PAS VP Husam Musa detained
PETALING JAYA: PAS vice-president Datuk Husam Musa was detained by police Saturday.
A post on Husam's Twitter account said he was detained at Desa Pandan and was now at the Ampang police station.
A post on his Facebook account made at 4.39pm said he was arrested by the Bukit Aman police branch and brought to the Ampang police station for the arrest report as Desa Pandan was in the Ampang area.
He will be brought to Kelantan to be investigated under the Sedition Act.
Police have not given the grounds for his arrest, but a later post said it could be regarding a statement of his published in the PAS publication Harakah Daily.
